Family autumn photo session.. on a lucky day!

On Sunday 22nd of November we woke up early to the sound of gales whipping around the houses, thrashing the windows with rain and hail. This is the day that My husband's cousin Iain and his family were driving up from Yorkshire for a colourful autumn session with us in Norfolk, in Sandringham. I think we all said our prayers for the weather to calm down! It teased us for hours with clear skies one minute and dark clouds the next. We got ready for the shoot regardless, and left it to fate.

The conditions were pretty perfect - a light breeze and patchy cloud diffusing the sunlight. The only problem was the temperature! By the end of the photographs (break inside heated car included) we were all pretty miserable and my fingers were genuinely numb. But everyone is happy with the results so it was all worth it!

Well done, little ones for putting up with the cold! (And Mummy and Daddy for staying positive throughout). It was great to see you, too!
