A rainy morning in Wolferton - Proposal Shoot

A rainy morning in Wolferton, we arrive at the (now closed) Royal Steam Railway station, which is so pristine I can hardly believe it. I meet photographer Jon Clifton who set up a couples photo shoot for his friend Neville. I've been looking forward to this shoot for a while and found it hard not to grin as Neville and Rebecca arrived....

We work through a few poses and while we chat, everyone relaxes. Moving around the station for a few varied shots then back again. Signing the guest book as we pass by the second time. And back to the bench for more photographs. Then Neville surprises Rebecca by getting off the bench, and onto one knee. I knew it was coming but I was still shaking with surprise and excitement! Like on a wedding day when the bride is arriving - unrepeatable moments and so important to get right. He asks her to marry him! Of course, she says yes and we give them a moment alone before returning with a hand-tied (by yours truly I might add) Bouquet and a bottle of Prosecco.

Many congratulations to Neville and Rebecca! *HIGH FIVE* It was SUCH a joy to witness your special moment. And thank you for allowing me to be a part of it. Wishing you both a life filled with love and happy times.

Days like today, I feel SO blessed that this is my job. I am so lucky to be right in the heart of people's life changing events. Freezing them forever. I'm living my dream in my own little way. A HUGE thank you to Jon Clifton who organised the shoot, you've helped me tick another achievement off my list.

Love x

Please contact me if you would like to capture your proposal. This shoot was free as it was my first, and I would love to do this once a year for free 'to give back'. Stay tuned! If you like this you may like - Love Gallery
