The New Mr & Mrs Jones, Cromer

Welcome to the wedding of Penny & Mike

..And to another wedding blog - I love to share these amazing days. Mr & Mrs Jones had a stunning, emotional wedding day that I love to look back through and remember. But found it really hard to trim the photo collection for blogging as I find they are all essential to telling their story...

I found the whole family getting ready for the big day at Incleborough House - a stunning cottage straight off a post card, tucked away in the village of East Runton near Cromer. It was a bright, cold day in February but the heather was blooming in the front garden despite the threat of snow.. which reminds us to keep going, keep blooming - even when things are difficult.

The bridal room was calm, with cups of tea and champagne lined up where the ladies had been waiting for their turn in 'the chair'. Penny was in the expert hands of Nik Melladay who had done a marvellous job on everyone's hair alongside make-up-artist Becky Pochetty - both from the No.4 Salon in King's Lynn.

Flowers for the bridal party were being lovingly hand tied by the ladies as they passed time between getting pampered and getting dressed. I explored the house and saw where the stems had been cut neatly in the kitchen. Penny told me about her grandma's necklace, and showed me a photograph of her wearing it in the 1920's!

We started chatting about other Cromer weddings we'd seen, and Penny shared a certain beach photo session with her entourage...

Exploring the house a little more, I found the boys lounge where Mike and his sons, friends and family were waiting. The Best of 'The Carter's' was on TV ... so obviously I was thrilled to find we all shared a love for this power couple (who are total relationship goals, too). #Beyonce #JayZ #Carters...

Meanwhile..... the ladies realised they had some time to waste, waiting for the cars to arrive...

The weather got much louder at North lodge, overlooking the open sea in the ceremony room. As the guests made their way inside and Mike waited for his bride to arrive.. a dog briefly gatecrashed the wedding! (Photographed fleeing the scene in a blur).. Then we heard Empire State of Mind playing from Penny's wedding car as they pulled up outside and stepped out into tiny drops of falling snow!

On our way to the Rocket House for Mr & Mrs Jones' wedding breakfast, they happened to meet the surfer than we had seen from the cliff-top. Better than a chimney sweep, if you ask me! They braved the wind for a moment and went inside to celebrate their marriage with an amazing choir, some (frankly, amazing) dancing and a lot of champagne (thank you..)! Only venturing outside again to see the snow, and use a sparkler.

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Jones!
