For years we've been driving past tulip fields and missing opportunities. But this year (Thanks to Mark from Belmont Nurseries) We got access to one of the most beautiful bits of farm land I've ever seen! What felt like miles of rows of coloured tulips over a few fields were within reach for about ten minutes.
There seems to be a very short amount of time between flowering and chopping off their heads so that the bulbs grow well - they were being cut as we walked around. My little ones were looking through the muddy flower heads for the best ones in case they would last in a jug of water for a few days.
I could have spent all day photographing these gorgeous flowers and telling the little ones all about it. Grateful for another day with the wild ones out and about in stunning Norfolk.. (and for Spring!)
