Mr & Mrs Marshall's Winter Wedding - Gawdy Hall

What happens when the local farmer gets married? Well, a fabulous tractor with a ribbon on it for a start! In the freezing cold St Mary's Church Redenhall, Amie & Dan said 'I do' between Christmas Carols with guests cuddled under blankets... and a particularly special sixpence in the bride's shoe. Their day was full of love, humour, and mistletoe (all things that I recommend for a happy marriage). There was even a surprise honeymoon, to boot!

Dan struggled to get the words out when it came to speaking about his new bride - (not because his printer malfunctioned and printed a teeny tiny version of the speech).. but when emotions made it too difficult, he handed the paper to Amie. She said this only made it more touching.

The all-day-frost managed to hang on despite the sunshine (which reminded me of my own winter wedding). And I used it in various scenarios through the day, trying to bring the pale sparkle out in the photographs.

Below is a range of my favourite photos from their Farm / Christmas themed wedding. There's no way my website / your browsers could have handled me posting everything I loved from their day. It was so full of character and style. My only regret was missing a properly funny moment when Amie kept it real by pinging her bra across the room as she emerged from underneath layers of wedding dress.

Wishing this awesome couple a very happy marriage!

"Seeing Dan at the altar and him making me laugh made me feel like I was home after being apart from him for what seemed like ages" - Amie
