Gemma & Robert's London Wedding

A quick train ride and Jon Clifton and I were in London for the March wedding of Gemma and Rob at the Islington Town Hall. It was rainy as Gemma arrived but that only makes surfaces shine and reflect. (And the sun did put in an appearance as photographs were taken on the steps!) After a sweet ceremony, we went away to take some quick couples photos with the beautiful interior of the building, and I made the most of their still-glowing, happy smiles. After that, it was time for The New Mr & Mrs to have their confetti shower! Then on to The Star pub where 1,000 handmade paper cranes decorated the cake, tables, ceiling, bar, lights and more! During the wedding breakfast, I took a walk to 'Parliament View' on Hampstead Heath for a quick look at the iconic skyline.

The evening was fantastic, Mr & Mrs Jones' friends filled the pub (literally) and we bumped into a previous wedding couple too! After speeches from the father of the bride, best man and the Groom, the gin bar opened upstairs and very quickly.. dancing began - Seeing a bride and her friends throw shapes to Crazy In Love got everyone in the mood for a good night!

Thanks to Mr & Mrs Jones for asking us to be there, I hope you have a long & happy marriage!
