Alexis & Darren's Wedding Day

Hello again! Yes, we’re back in the heatwave of 2018. July, specifically - and I’m thrilled to bring you the wedding photos of Alexis and Darren’s big day.

They met at the alter of Swaffham’s Church of St. Peter and St. Paul to the sound of organ music and standing in the beams of bright sunshine. If you look closely, you can see the bell ringers on the balcony watching Alexis arrive as well as her looking up at them as they leave as Mr & Mrs. After cherished family and friends heard them exchange their wedding vows and confetti was thrown, the party began at Castle Acre.
The Village hall was full of personalised touches, prosecco and cakes & macarons for their afternoon tea service. But first… a walk alone for the first time since saying “I do” - so we explored the castle for Mr & Mrs Bailey’s couples photographs under the huge blue Norfolk sky. And although the sun was hot, there was a strong breeze to help with the heat - I can still remember the patterns in the heather from the wind that day, and another veil that came a little loose! Alexis & Darren looked so comfortable in each others arms and needed no encouragement, the love was palpable. And as they walked back to the Village hall to enjoy their reception we heard a voice from behind a garden wall “Oooh, wow! Absolutely Bootiful!” Now there’s nothing left to do but let the good times unfold and catch them as they do! Scroll down through these photos to find out more…

Thank you so much to Alexis & Darren for asking me to be there - what an amazing day you had!
